Creative Director Zac Posen, effortlessly combines classic style with
modern design. Vintage images of Jacqueline de Ribes taken in the
garden of a vacation villa inspired its easy elegance.
By
playing with proportions and feminine construction, the collection
combines timeless style with wearability. The palette is marked by
confectionary pastels and Mediterranean tones of pale pink, watery
blues, faded turquoise and sun-washed yellow.
Linen
is embellished with embroidery in a dress and tunic for a refined
look. A jacquard suit with polka dots offers a sophisticated spin on
a favorite pattern and solid pique separates, including a smart
cropped jacket, are crisp and polished.
Shirt
dresses are available in two signature prints, an oversized navy
porcelain print, reminiscent of Mediterranean ceramics or a whimsical
cherry blossom which is also found on a button-front skirt, an
embroidered t-shirt, and a silk cashmere intarsia sweater.
Seersucker, a Brooks Brothers classic, returns in an unexpected shade
of driftwood brown stripes shown on suits, skirts and dresses.
A full range of accessories complements the ready-to-wear collection and includes a souvenir inspired straw bucket bag and practical leather-trimmed canvas totes in navy, cognac and signal yellow. Scarves are offered in a selection of unique original prints. Footwear includes sling-back heels trimmed with grosgrain bows and also braided strappy sandals. Jewelry is shown in a rose gold summer pastel floral and a set of beaded bangle bracelets and bauble earrings add a bit of whimsy.
